The Preface of the book by Sean D. Barron

 It is the heartbeat of my existence to reach people with the truth.  For much of my life and early ministry, I was led to pursue the proverbial “one sheep” and allow the rest of the flock to tend themselves.  That portion of the flock always seemed so safe, pure, and "dignified."  In other words, they had their church faces on, but believers and non-believers, alike, can carry a façade of external peace but remain broken within.  I learned early on that most people inside the church carry on the same type of charade but just conceal it within a different language and culture.  Let me tell you that God really has no interest in our games, toys, intellects, talents, conquests and achievements.  They only honor Him and advance His kingdom when they are used in humility to glorify Jesus.  The Lord is still interested in winning our hearts, saving lost souls, and radically setting people free.  Today there is so much “pollution” in our lives, minds and hearts that many churches have lost sight of the concepts of loving and reaching a hurting people, let alone teaching the believer how to mature in the Lord.      

I hope this book challenges your heart and opens the door for real change to take place.  Ultimately, my prayer is that the reader may discover who he or she is in Christ and, in that identity, walk in purpose.  This is a ten year work in progress.  In these pages, you will hear directly from the word of God, testimony of my own life experiences walking with the Lord, and out-of-the-box analogies, poems, essays, verse by verse breakdowns and testimonies of real life people.  The world’s systems and the enemy will be exposed.  Things that are normally swept under the rug will openly be discussed. Many of my own heart felt experiences are laid bare in the hope of sparing or relating to those who wish to pursue more.  As I began writing this work, my target audience or demographic was initially geared toward the seeker, the new believer, the blue collar worker or the religious person who may have taken their eyes off Jesus.  As the Lord brought the chapters together and these pages come to completion, my perspective has changed.  My eyes are now open.  This book may not be for everyone or any certain demographic at all.  However, it is for all who would receive it and desire to grow up and Finish Their Milk.
